Академические стандарты деятельности юридических клиник, приняты на конференции, посвященной вопросам развития клинического юридического образования в Болгарии (на английском)

On June 3 and 4, CEELI, the Open Society Institute and the VelikoTarnovo Legal Clinic brought together representatives of the Bulgarian Bar Association, the judiciary, and the executive office, as well asrepresentatives from Bulgaria's law schools and legal clinics for the conference, Sustainability of Clinical Legal Education in Bulgaria. The highlight of the event was the formal adoption of academic standards for the organization and activities of legal clinics within Bulgarian law faculties, which CEELI and the Open Society Institute helped draft. Representatives from the legal clinics signed the document, taking the first step toward theself-regulation of clinical legal education in the country. The adoption comes just as the Ministry of Justice is considering incorporating legal clinics intothe legal education curricula.
